Incorporate soft goat cheese and fresh chopped Rosemary into your next batch of homemade burgers. It's a delicious new flavor profile.
Ingredients
- 5 oz Ground Beef
- 1 oz (28 g) Okanagan Goat Cheese Crumbles
- 1/2 tsp fresh Rosemary, minced
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Olive Oil
*Note that there is no "binder" in these burgers. Depending on the quality of meat you use, this may mean they get a bit crumbly. I highly suggest getting a high quality meat from the butcher, instead of stuff from the regular markets. Ask the butcher for good meat, and he won't let you down.
Instructions
Pre - heat grill.
In a large bowl gently mix all ingredients together, don't "smear" them.
Form into a nice patty about 3/4 inch thick.
Place the patty on the grill and cook on direct high heat.
Grill the burger to your liking. Around 8 to 10 minutes for medium, turning once.
During the last minute of cooking time, toast bun, cut sides down, over direct heat.
When cooked remove from grill and assemble burger with toppings to your liking.
The cheese and herbs throughout the burger will give it a nice seasoned flavor that will accentuate the burger. You won't need as many "toppings" to make this burger AWESOME!
